  1. Hi Teresa!

Excellent question. Thanks for asking. We are electing to have local speakers come and share their diverse and amazing stories about how they have overcome their own life challenges and have escaped box thinking. We will be sharing a bit about each of them here (so watch this space). Some of the story themes include:

From Victim to Advocate – overcoming emotional trauma associated with a mass shooting

From Rock Bottom to Thriving – Surviving an abusive relationship and starting over in a country that’s not your own

From Stuck to Fearless – Taking radical steps to make change happen because the pain of staying the same is worse than the pain of change

In addition to speakers, we have activities and quite a few working sessions planned. The workshop is a great way to connect with some new people, change the way in which you look at your own life, and have some fun at the same time. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! Hope to see you in March!!!!

    Thanks! – Kate

  2. Good day! I understand the conference is held in Richmond. Is this in the downtown area? (The reason I ask is that I don’t drive). My other question please is, would the conference be helpful to a woman in her sixties, suddenly retired, but looking forward to finding her way moving forward? Thank you!

    1. Hi Mary! Thanks for your question. The venue is actually in the West End at a location called “The Place at Innsbrook”. Here is the address: 4036-C Cox Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060. It is right off of Broad Street very close to the 64/Broad Street exchange.

It appears the closest bus stop is at Broad & Pemberton. Your best bet (depending on where you are in town) may be to consider an Uber or a taxi.

And in regard to your second question, the workshop would be GREAT for someone just retired. So many possibilities at this point in life that we can help you discover and start mapping towards! We would LOVE to have you join us! And for reaching out… please use promo code: POSSIBILITY for a special discount off your ticket! See you soon!!! – Kate

Please let us know before you book the hotel, and we can provide a link to allow you to get the workshop rate.
